A. Production Orders from Unicommerce

We understand production orders are managed in Unicommerce. The system will pull these orders and track the production lifecycle. These questions help us understand what data comes from Unicommerce and what your team adds on top.

A1. What does a "production order" look like in Unicommerce? *
We need to understand the Unicommerce data so the system pulls the right information. Example: "We get sale orders in Unicommerce. When an order comes in for 500 kurtas and we don't have stock, that becomes a production requirement."
Please select an option or provide your answer.
A2. Does one Unicommerce order = one production order? Or do you combine/split them? *
Example: "We collect all orders for the week, then group them by SKU. If 8 different customers ordered the same kurta, we produce them in one batch."
Please select an option or provide your answer.
A3. After pulling an order from Unicommerce, does your team add any extra information before production starts? *
Pick all that apply.
Please select at least one option.
A4. How often should the system check Unicommerce for new orders? *
Please select an option or provide your answer.

B. Production Stages & Workflow

Understanding the stages your products go through from raw material to finished goods.

B1. What stages does a production order go through? *
List your stages in order. Common example: Materials Reserved, Cutting, Stitching, QC, Finishing/Packing, Complete. Simple tracking (Reserved, In Production, Done) also works.

Please enter at least two production stages.
B2. Can a production order move backward? *
Example: QC finds defects in 200 out of 500 units — do those 200 go back to stitching? Or are they scrapped/set aside?
Please select an option or provide your answer.
B3. Do you have partial completions? *
Example: You ordered production of 2,000 units. After one week, 1,500 are done and 500 are still being stitched. Do you need to record this 1,500 as "partially complete" while 500 continues?
Please select an option.
B4. Does anyone need to approve stage transitions? *
Example: When moving from "QC Passed" to "Complete", does a supervisor need to sign off? Or can the floor team just update it?
Please select an option or provide your answer.

C. Raw Material Reservation

How raw materials are allocated and tracked during production.

C1. When you start a production order, do you set aside (reserve) the raw materials immediately? *
Example: You decide to produce 500 Blue Kurtas. Each needs 2m of fabric and 5 buttons. Do you immediately "lock" 1,000m of fabric and 2,500 buttons so no other order can use them?
Please select an option or provide your answer.
C2. What happens if there aren't enough raw materials for the full order? *
Example: You need 1,000m of fabric but only have 600m in stock. What do you do?
Please select an option or provide your answer.
C3. When materials go to the production floor, should they be deducted from raw material stock? *
Please select an option or provide your answer.

D. Weekly Planning

How you plan and schedule production work each week.

D1. How do you plan production work each week? *
Please select an option or provide your answer.
D2. How do you prioritize which orders to produce first? *
Pick your top 2-3 factors.
Please select at least one factor.
D3. Do you have a fixed production capacity per week? *
Example: "We can produce about 5,000 total units per week" or "We have 3 production lines, each handles one large order at a time"
Please select an option or provide your answer.
D4. What view would be most useful for weekly planning? *
Please select an option.

E. Monitoring & Visibility

What you need to see on the production dashboard and how alerts should work.

E1. What is the most important thing to see at a glance on the production dashboard? *
Pick your top 3.
Please select at least one item.
E2. How should overdue orders be handled? *
Example: A production order was expected to complete by Friday but it's now Monday and it's still in stitching.
Please select an option or provide your answer.
E3. Who needs to see production/WIP status? *
Pick all that apply and note what each person cares about.
Please select at least one role.
E4. When production is complete, how is Unicommerce updated with the new finished goods stock? *
Note: Currently the system only reads from Unicommerce. If you need it to push completed production back, let us know — we can evaluate that.
Please select an option or provide your answer.

F. Anything Else?

Share anything we may have missed about your production workflow.

F1. Is there anything about your production workflow that we haven't covered? *
Any special cases, exceptions, or pain points with the current process that you'd like the system to handle?
Please provide an answer (you can write "None" if nothing applies).
F2. Do you have any reference — an existing tool, spreadsheet, or system — that you'd like the production tracking to feel similar to? *
Example: "We use a Google Sheet that looks like..." or "We liked how [tool name] handles production tracking"
Please provide an answer (you can write "None" if nothing applies).
